STARTright was developed by Spencer Rose, a business law attorney who has practiced business organizations and tax law in Charlotte, NC and Phoenix, AZ. Spencer Rose is the Attorney and Founder behind STARTright While serving his clients, Spencer felt much of the set up and administrative tasks required to form a Limited Liability Company were performed in an inefficient and costly manner. In an attempt to help his clients set up their LLCs in a more cost-effective way, Spencer began developing the framework for a web application that would:
  • Create the Articles of Organization in a step by step process.
  • Help business owners file the LLC Articles with the appropriate state agency.
  • Teach business owners the basics for running the LLC.
  • Provide a means to update documents and get reminders so the LLC was run efficiently.
With a little help from some friends, and some capital from a very forward thinking real estate investor, STARTright was born in the fall of 2008. STARTright has helped hundreds (soon to be thousands) of business owners start their business on the right foot.
